Who are we?

The youth violence prevention team runs a research lab supervised by Dr. Emilio Ulloa of the department of psychology & Dr. Audrey Hokoda of the department of child and family development.  We are located at San Diego State University.  We are dedicated to the conducting research toward the prevention of both relationship violence and bullying among teens and young adults.  We feel that this is a worthy endeavor because despite a robust line of research, youth violence remains a problem in today's society and victims of violence are more likely to be victims of numerous health, emotional, and psychological problems.  If you are interested in becoming a part of our research team please contact us. We are always looking for good students and researchers to join us!  Click on the menu buttons above for more information about the research, lab activities, the research team, and resources.
We are on facebook:

We are located in LS 105 and on the basement floor of the North Life Science Building in LS-1.
